I first tried the charger in a car. He worked for a minute and then could not be loaded (or illuminate the LED light). I withdrew to the charger and tried to use my GPS unit with a car charger (which has been good in the car) and concluded that it would be inappropriate, either

, I returned the rental car and thought it was a problem with its electrical system. But if the exact same thing happened in the second car (after the power re-charger very well my GPS “), I realized that I caused the problem…. IPhone from my use of this charger Cheapo. I’m just glad that: 1 . I did not plug the charger in my car, and 2 did not want to fry my iPhone!

The charger went straight into the trash, and I bought my car charger at the Apple Store for $ 20. It’s great, reliable, and I can use it to load all the gizmo, which charges via USB (including my computer, my 3GJUICE, etc.

The car charger for my 3G iPhone at all. The red light on the charger said it was receiving power, but my iPhone 3G is not a burden. This issue was tested on two different iPhones in two different cars. I decided not to share, because it is not worth the return shipping and handling costs. It seems others have had much success with this product, but I can not recommend it.

He came a few days I’ve been using my iPhone 3G and it worked.

By the way, I iPhone 3 Tips to prolong battery life significantly 3G, go to “Settings” and set the following:

    , 1st Set Wi-Fi: Off
2 New Data: hourly (I can not connect to the mail server from my work exchange)
    3 General> Network> Enable 3G Off

In addition, if you speed for surfing the Internet and other applications, then either switch to wireless or 3G. I use wireless performance reasons.

I did some speed tests and found that the 3-network options I have are the download speeds:

1 Wireless WiFi – 6Mbits / s (to my house connected wireless network from a cable service)
    2 3G – 1 2 Mbit / s
3 EDGE – 0 Phone 18 Mbit / s – I use for my daily – works very well and the best place to extend the battery life

conclusion, when at home and relax, connect to a power source and turn on the Wi-Fi when running on battery set parameters, as mentioned above. Enjoy your iPhone.

I have this charger for my 2000 Nissan Maxima. After a week, he blew a fuse in my cigarette lighter before and after one use, he blew another one. I think there’s a reason it was so cheap.

Let the buyer beware. . .

DO NOT BUY. A waste of money, the iPhone simply not free.
Save yourself the trouble. The shipping costs amount to more than the charger itself, now I know why. What a piece of shit.
